An Imagination Space
Based in Birkenhead, Auckland, Dreamlab Studios first opened our doors in 2019; with the vision to come up with a solution for people in need of a professional environment, for all types of photography productions. Through hard work and perseverance, our photography studio has achieved great success and continues to expand all that we have to offer our clients.

THE STUDIO
Dreamlab Studios is a large studio space suitable for all types of photography shoots.
We have standard backdrops that are 2.7m wide and 11m long roll paper on a pulley system. We currently have them in three different colours: black, green and white.
If any other colour or design is needed, this can be sourced on request for an extra charge.

The studio has access via a 4m high roller door for unloading of equipment, products or vehicle shoots.
Parking inside the warehouse is available if needed e.g. raining etc.

Customer parking is right outside for three cars during business hours, and plenty more after 5pm.
CYCLORAMA
We have built a 7.58m x 5.55m white cyclorama with epoxy resin white floor; especially made for driving on, with 3.0m high walls for a long shooting range.
There is a lighting rail system with 4 pull down pantographs that can have a range of lights attached to; depending on requirements, for ease of use.
The cyclorama has two black muslin backdrop sheets, 6m wide, 3m long on a cable. These cover the full width of the studio; giving you a 12m wide backdrop with two more for the ground, 3m out - these are held together with press studs.
PROPS AND REFLECTORS:
-Photolite 5-in-1 Collapsible Reflector with handle 80cm x 120cm
-White and black Corflute 1.2m x 0.9m reflector boards
Anything extra can be sourced for an extra cost.
LIGHTING:
-3x continuous 450W 0.5m x 0.7m soft boxes (included with studio hire)
-2x Jinbei HD610 High-speed sync flash (included with studio hire)
-2x Octagonal Softbox 120cm - Bowens with Photolite Grid (included with studio hire)
-Lighting rail system with 4x pull-down pantographs that can have a range of lights attached to it, for a quick and tidy lighting setup
-4.9m x 2.7m ceiling lighting box for strobe lighting to be shot through
If you have any other lighting requirements, let us know prior to your booking and we can source it, for an extra cost.
AVAILABLE PROFESSIONALS:
-We have a builder on request if there are any specialty backdrops or set designs that need constructing.
-We have talented photographers and videographers available, on request.
